RoomRuler

Designed for the Studio Webware interior design community, RoomRuler allows designers to automatically create a fully dimensioned 2D & 3D construct of their room in just a few seconds, using their iPhone. There is no guessing, no need for tape measures & no need to move furniture, or reach into difficult to access areas. RoomRuler does it all for you! All you have to do is let the app guide you to scan the room from corner to corner using a simple motion, until you’ve completed a full 360 cycle. You then measure and annotate windows, doors, or other features you’re interested in.

View your room as a 2D floor plan, or view it in full 3D. You’ll see all the windows, doors, and other features you measured. You can save, print, or share these rooms with your clients. You can even export your room in .dxf format for editing in programs like Autocad, & Sketchup! RoomRuler is optimized for the iPhone 5 & 5C and iPhone 6 & 6 Plus, and there is also a dedicated website where you can view and download your rooms.
