See With Me

Blind or visually impaired? This app was developed for you! It allows you to simply move your smartphone over a product's barcode, and the product name will be read out loud to you. Use it at home or at your grocery store. A connection to the internet (either Wi-Fi or cellular data) is required.

Most products from Save-On, Overwaitea and PriceSmart locations are able to be scanned by this app (excluding items packaged in-store, such as the deli and bakery). We're working to add more stores soon!

Features:
- Able to be opened with Siri
- No navigation buttons
- No text, everything is spoken to you
- Does not require VoiceOver
- Easy to use
- Add barcodes online

Instructions:

- Open the app. To open with Siri, press and hold the home button and then say "Open See With Me"

- The app will say "ready to scan" to alert you that it is open. If your volume is too low, the app will vibrate to alert you that it has opened, but you need to turn your volume up.

- Once the app is open, move the item in your hand and wait for the app to find the barcode (the camera on your device is located in the top back right corner - make sure this is roughly 6-8 inches from the item)

- The app will speak the product name, and then be ready to scan the next product
