App Store Description

A shared dashboard that gives parents and caregivers a quick and easy way to share care information.

Set up care groups for your children and loved ones. Share appointments, medicines, notes, sleep log, carer visit and regular club information between care group members.

Introduction
- Use Shared Care to set up Care Groups for each person you care for. Add Appointments, Medicines, Notes, Sleep Log entries, Carer Visits and regular Club trips, and share all of this information with other caregivers who use the app
- All information is securely stored in a central database and is only accessible to the carers to whom you grant access
- Any carer with access to a Care Group can add, edit and delete information, but only the owner of the Care Group can approve new members or delete the Care Group itself
- We created Shared Care to help myself and my wife stay afloat in the sea of information related to caring for our two daughters, one of whom has complex medical needs. We sincerely hope that it proves useful for other families and carers

Get Started
- Start the Shared Care app and tap the Register Now option
- Enter your email address, a display name and a new password, then tap the Sign Up button to create your account
- Validate your email address by clicking the link in the validation email that will arrive in your inbox
- Once registered, you can use the Sign In option next time you need to authenticate

Create a Care Group
- Tap Add on the Home page then tap Add on the pop up dialog
- Enter the name of the person you are caring for in the next dialog, and tap the Add button
- You will see your new Care Group listed on the Home page. This list shows the Care Groups that you own or are a member of
- You will also see the Care Group you have added on the Manage Care Groups page

Join an Existing Care Group
- Note that you will need the name of the Care Group and the email address of the Care Group owner. These will need to be shared with you outside the app
- Tap Add on the Home page then tap Join on the pop up dialog
- Enter the Care Group owner's email address and the name of the person you are both caring for, then tap the Join button
- If you navigate to the Manage Care Groups page you will see yourself added to the list of Care Group members, in a pending approval status
- After the Care Group owner approves your request to join the Care Group - which they will see on their Manage Care Groups page - you will see the new Care Group on your Home page

Using a Care Group
- Tap the name of the Care Group on the Home page to navigate to their information
- You will now see a list of options at the bottom of the screen allowing you to create and view Appointments / Carer Visits, Notes, Clubs, Medicines and Sleep Log entries
- By tapping the gear icon in the app bar at top-right you can navigate to the Settings screen where you can select the default landing page for this particular Care Group. You can also choose the default calendar format and default sleeping and waking times
- When you tap through to any of the options, for example Dates, you will see a list of existing entries and a button that allows you to add new ones
- Swipe existing items from left-to-right to edit them, and after making changes tap the Save button
- Swipe existing items from right-to-left to delete them after being prompted to confirm

Medicines
- Tapping an item in the Medicines list ticks the checkbox, indicating that the medicine has been given on the current day
- The checkbox automatically clears at the start of the next day, or can be reset by tapping again

Sleep Log
- Designed for carers to enter waking and sleeping periods for the person they care for, e.g. after providing overnight sleep respite
- Supports up to 9 waking periods per night, with a minimum duration of 15 minutes per waking period
- The sleep log overview is designed to highlight sleeping (thick line) and waking (thin line) patterns per week
