Simpler Weather

Simpler Weather truly sets out to be the easiest and simplest way to access weather on a daily basis.

When I set out to design and create Simpler Weather, I was driven by the problem that I had, which was that all weather apps, even the Apple weather app, had too much going on, data was not clearly laid out for quick access and to be easily read. So I decided to fix that.

Simpler Weather lays out weather data in the easiest way possible. It consists of three pages, one, the main page, gives you all of the most important weather data as a quick look-quick access page. This includes current temperature, current conditions and way more. The second page consists of hourly weather data, which gives you hourly weather for the next 48 hours. Last but not least, the third page gives your 7 days worth of future weather data so you know what the weather will be like through next week.

Data:
Simpler Weather is powered by a very detailed and accurate Dark Sky Weather API. It accurately and simply provides hourly, and daily weather with up to the minute weather forecasts.

Features:
• Hourly data for the next 48 hours (including the current hours weather)
• Daily data for the next 7 days (including the current days weather)
• Simple UI that makes reading and accessing all the data you could possibly need, an easier experience for everyone!

Future Features:
• Apple Watch app and complications so you can get up to the minute weather without even getting the phone out of your pocket!
• More detailed view for daily and hourly data inside the table views
• iMessage app so you don't even have to go to the app itself to send someone the current weather information
• Possible design changes
