App Store Description

Welcome to Skin Saver! Environmental stresses on your skin such as humidity, temperature, and solar ultraviolet (UV) radiation pose skin-care challenges, which grow more difficult to deal with as you age. Fortunately, our app was made to help you manage dry skin due to external drying stresses as well as skin photoaging and skin-cancer risks resulting from UV exposures. Use Skin Saver to ensure healthy skin – proactively, instead of reactively.

We built this version of Skin Saver specifically for people who own a Netatmo Weather Station. If you do not own a Netatmo device, the app’s functionality will be limited. Our team is working to add more supported smart devices in the near future, including our own proprietary, state-of-the art monitor to track drying stresses on skin. Check back soon to connect your other smart home devices!

By connecting Skin Saver with your Netatmo device, you’ll have quick and easy access to the following:

• Our unique Dry Skin Index: a measure of the external drying stresses on your skin, shown on an easy-to-understand scale of 1 to 10

• UV Index: an international measure of the intensity of ultraviolet radiation in your local area at noontime (from the U.S. EPA)

• Indoor relative humidity and temperature
(from your Netatmo device)

• Your indoor water vapor level

• Local outdoor relative humidity
and temperature (from Openweathermap.org)

• Local water vapor
level, which is a key determinant of indoor humidity and hence your skin’s hydration.

• Recommendations for skin moisturizer applications: apply lotion proactively in
order to ensure hydrated skin

• Recommendations for running a humidifier: turn on a humidifier in your bedroom when indoor humidity is low to hydrate your skin while you sleep

• Recommendations for UV Protection

• Recommendations for Skin Care Products
