SKIP Tips – for the tricky bits of parenting!

SKIP Tips is a free parenting guide for anyone looking after children under-five. Brought to you by SKIP (Strategies for Kids, Information for Parents) it features simple, age-appropriate ideas for handling behaviour most of us find hard - everything from tantrums to toileting to car-seat struggles. SKIP Tips is also a way of checking in with yourself - and whether your mood or situation might be affecting your child’s behaviour.

You can save and share tips that work for each child and set yourself reminders for regularly stressful situations such as bedtime, or supermarket shopping. You can also create mini-challenges each week to keep your relationship with your child on track. For example reading a book to your child every night or saying ‘I love you’ more often.
