Stam is a dating app made in France, designed to help you get to know your matches before going out on a real-life date.

Try the Pre-date, a video chat lasting a few minutes so that you can test out the chemistry and if you are compatible and truly match with one another .

There are no random video chats with Stam. You can only contact and pre-date with your pre-matches without having to exchange phone numbers.

The rules :

1 - Browse and like profiles near you. The people who like you back will become your Pre-Matchs .

1 bis - Your friends can play matchmakers and Pre-Match you with another one of their friends. To find out who they matched you with, enter the code they sent you into the Stam app and go to your Pre-Match list .

1 ter - You can join a Stam Party, a personalized event happening on our app. During the party, all attendees are Pre-Matched and can get to know each other during a Pre-Date (quick video chat) .

2 - Set-up a pre-date with a pre-match

You can suggest to your Pre-Match a time to connect on a video call. The other person can accept, refuse or suggest another time to connect. On the pre-agreed upon time, only the ladies can initiate the call (for LGBT users the call can be initiated by the person who first proposed the pre-date).

3 - On the Pre-date

Our promise is for you to go on dates with the near certainty that you will like the other person. With Stam’s Pre-Date, you have a way to check your compatibility ahead of a real-life meet-up.
That way, you won’t waste your time if you don’t feel that little spark.

A Pre-date is a video chat lasting for a few minutes.

4 - Approve the match

At the end of the Pre-Date, you will be asked whether you liked the other person. If you both said yes, then they become your match. You have unlimited chats and video calls with your matches.

Downloading and using the STAM app is free.

Certain features (super likes, filters, Pre-Date, video calls,..) require the use of in-app credits. We give out every day credits so that you can use STAM for free. If you need more credits, you can invite friends to use STAM or upgrade to a premium account and get 3x more credits.
