The Recorder lets you record audio in a very convenient way. You see all recordings you have done as regions on an infinite timeline, which you can move and pinch with your fingers. This timeline can display any time-interval you like: It doesn't matter if you want to examine that single second in more detail or even see the whole year.

You can create, edit and delete bookmarks while playback and recording. Also you can browse a list of all recordings and bookmarks you have created, tap to play, edit and delete.

All recordings are done with the high-quality sample-rate of 44.1kHz and compressed with with the AAC codec, so you get CD-quality sound, but with very low storage needs (about 27 MB per hour). You can send your recordings per email as m4a-files or access them through iTunes.

Of course you can play back or record audio even while The Recorder is in background or your iPhone is set so sleep!
