Tokyo Taxi Association - TAKKUN

TAKKUN is an app that uses GPS and intuitive operations boasted by smartphones to allow you to call a nearby taxi, from one of several taxi companies operating in Tokyo Japan, to a location of your choosing.
Enjoy travel and sight and transport in Tokyo with TAKKUN!

The app is operated by Tokyo Hire-Taxi Association.

※The dispatch taxis of NIHON KOTSU was finished on May 31.
※As with orders by telephone, a pick-up fee will be charged in accordance with each company's regulations.

■Features of the Service
1. You can select your pick-up point easily using the map and GPS, and do not need to talk with an operator eliminating the need for troublesome explanations of your pick-up point (address, building name etc).
2. You can register a regular pick-up point as a favorite and also use the Nearby Facilities function to select your pick-up point with ease.
3. You can use your order history to quickly send repeat orders using the same information from past orders.
4. You can check to see where your taxi is.
5. You do not need to register in advance and can use the app as soon as it is downloaded.

■Points of Caution
GPS is needed for this app. Make sure your GPS is turned on and that you are in an area with good network coverage when you use the app.
The app can be used in Tokyo's 23 wards, Musashino City, and Mitaka City, and Tama area.
As with orders by telephone, when you use this app to place an order, a pick-up fee in accordance with the taxi company's regulations will be added to the taxi fare.
Please be aware that depending on the location, there are times when a taxi cannot be dispatched.
