The Miracle of Qur’anic Arabic – Easy Access for All

The lite version contains 2 lessons and has all the functionality of the full version.

Understand 30% of the words of the Qur’an within 20 hours! Start translating simple Qur’anic phrases within a few days! This is the Miracle of Qur’anic Arabic.

U-Quran is designed to help you attain your goal by providing you a structured lesson-by-lesson 3 step approach towards building your Qur’anic vocabulary. Stripped away are all the distractions that are often part of traditional Arabic language courses, and instead what you are presented with is a very streamlined approach that teaches you the most in the least amount of time.

U-Quran maximizes your effort by:
1)Focusing on the most repeated words in the Qur’an
2)Grouping words with common roots in the same lesson
3)Being very selective on what grammar rules to present and when to present them
4)Immersing students immediately into the process of translating Qur’anic Ayat’s
5)Designing each lesson to take about 30 minutes

Each Lesson is structured as follows:
1)Word Review: Presentation of 10 to 15 words for that lesson
2)Drills: Review drills to reinforce lesson words
3)Exercises: Further word reinforcement by translating ayats that contain current (and past) lesson words

More about U-Quran:
U-Quran is short for “Understanding Qur’anic Arabic for the English Speaking”. The focus of this program is to allow a Muslim to connect directly with the Qur’an in Arabic, the language that it was originally revealed. Allah(S) in all His wisdom revealed the Qur’an in Arabic, and did so in the first instance to Arabs to whom the language of the Qur’an was their own. In Surah Ibrahim, verse 4 Allah(S) says:
AND NEVER have We sent forth any apostle otherwise than [with a message] in his own people's tongue, so that he might make [the truth] clear unto them; but God lets go astray him that wills [to go astray], and guides him that wills [to be guided] -for He alone is almighty, truly wise. (14:4)

But today the vast majorities of Muslims do not speak or understand Arabic, and the task of learning another language is just too daunting. But Allah(S) knows all, and one of the miracles of the Qur’an is that as rich as the message of the Qur’an is, the vocabulary used to deliver its’ message is actually very small! For Allah(S) says:
For example, of the seven days of the week in the Arabic language, the Qur’an only uses the word Juma and Sabt (Friday and Saturday). Another example includes the months of the year where our of the 12 months in the Arabic language the Qur'an only mentions Ramadan. And of the multitude of numbers that exist the Qur'an uses only 1 thru 12, 19, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, and 99, 100, 200, 300, 1000, 3000, 5000, and 50,000.
Now If one has to start with Arabic language as a whole (as in a traditional Arabic class) he/she will probably have to memorize all the names of the months, days of the week and numbers up to 50,000 to be able to comprehend just the 32 items mentioned above. Would it not be a lot easier to just learn the 32 items?

In this first installment of U-Quran we cover 206 words. Out of the 52,585 words contained within the entire Qur’an, these 206 words (with repetition) account for 15,914 of those words. That’s an amazing 30.3% of the words in the entire Qur’an. Imagine learning just 206 words and being able to access 30% of the Qur’an in Arabic!

Think about it: In what language, and in which book can you get this result? Unless the Qur’an is easy, you cannot achieve so much in so little effort. So has said Allah(S), the Almighty:

But We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition? (54:22)
