Unit Conversions

Unit Conversions is the one-to-many converter that uses full-text unit names to take advantage of the large, beautiful screens on today's iPhones, iPods and iPads. Featuring the most popular units, Unit Conversions has an intuitive and customizable interface that takes advantage of the highly-legible San Francisco font with full multitasking split-screen support for iPad.

As a hobbyist-mechanic working on three European cars my references are always in newton meters but my torque wrenches are a combination of newton meters, foot pounds and inch pounds. A one-to-many format allows me to quickly see the different conversions and shift tools on the fly without doubling back on my calculations. My wife also appreciates the quick format for baking. One recipe > different measuring instruments.


EASY TO USE

- 3D Touch : Force Touch from the home screen to deep link open a unit

- Hold a unit name and drag to the top to change the reference unit (3D Touch : Force Touch selects base unit, with haptic feedback if turned on in Settings)

- Hold a value and drag to where you want it on the list (3D Touch : Force Touch sends the unit to the first position, with haptic feedback if turned on in Settings)

- Hold a unit TYPE and drag to where you want it on the list (3D Touch : Force Touch sends the unit type to the first position)

- Holding a value simultaneously copies the result to the clipboard (as formatted) if selected in options

- Touch the input value to edit or tap the "x" button to clear. Both actions toggle the keypad

- Pull the scroll down (standard refresh gesture) when viewing currencies. The rates will update and recalculate

- Pull the scroll down to reveal sort buttons

- Swipe left on any value or swipe left on any unit type to hide it.
