People ceased taking care of themselves. They handed this responsibility over to their doctors, lawyers, accountants. They do everything to relieve themselves of responsibility for their own lives.

Traditional Wing Chun will bring you back to yourself. It will teach you to hear yourself and – what is more important – trust yourself. What I know from my personal experience is most people take up martial arts because of fear; fear of violence makes them take this step. This same fear plus lack of faith multiplied by urge to shift the responsibility for their own lives onto someone else – all these are pushing a person to drugs and loneliness. Nowadays, people are usually afraid to be alone. The introduced tool can become a real friend to you if you train regularly, the real friend that will never let you down and will always be with you, no matter what happens. I am lucky – I have found my teacher, grandmaster William Cheung. It was he, who explained to me, that any action has the consequences, sometimes unexpected and the sense of our being is to be aware of everything that we do and realize that even our smallest action eventually influences the world. Never teach what you cannot do well by yourself. Never say what you haven’t done yourself. Life will end one day and only our deeds will remain after us. Everything I do, I dedicate to the Person who has taught me all these – to my teacher, grandmaster William Cheung, whose student I am, and to all those who want to find the way to themselves and stop living in fear and become free and of course to my family.
