Wal-Mart Superstore is already one of the highest sellers of the iPod and iPhone accessories worldwide, but now rumors hint that they may be adding the iPhone to their lineup. Currently Best Buy holds the title as the only independent retailer carrying the iPhone 3G in the U.S., but if the deal goes through with Wal-Mart, as rumored, the iPhone will be in their stores starting November 15, just a few weeks before Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. Black Friday is renowned for being the bussiest shopping day of the year as consumers gobble up gifts for the holiday season. The Boy Genius was dead-on with their report about Best Buy bringing the iPhone to their stories, though their rumor that Radio Shack would do the same obviously hasn't panned out. Batting .500 on the rumor mill, we'll have to wait and see if their latest gossip is correct.
