Car Jack Streets Gets Jacked
April 29, 2009
It was only yesterday that we announced the release of a brand new game titled Car Jack Streets for the iPhone, and it only took one day for those pesky pirates to make an impact on the sales of the game.
The developer of Car Jack Streets, TAG Games, recently posted this disheartening message on their Twitter feed:
SHOCKING! Looks like sales of Car Jack Streets are less than a THIRD of total users. That is a massive proportion of piracy. That obviously means that two-thirds of the entire user base of the game consists of pirates. Two-thirds! The argument that is commonly made here is that most of the people who pirated the game are people who wouldn't have purchased it anyway, which is simply a way of justifying piracy. Of course, this isn't the norm, but it is alarming. Hopefully TAG Games is able to keep on going without feeling the effects of piracy too much. If you want to acquire the game legally, Car Jack Streets is available at the App Store for $4.99.
