Review: Bug Out!

Overview
So Mr. Spider is hungry, very hungry. He wants lots and lots of tasty flies in his belly and you are just the right person to help him achieve that goal. By combining touch controls and the accelerometer, Bug Out! is a very casual and simple game you can easily pick up and learn to play in seconds.
Features
As mentioned above, the game features a unique mixture of touch-screen based controls and the use of the accelerometer. This is all combined in order to move Mr. Spider from one end of the screen to the other. The game has three different skill levels included in it and local high score keeping as well.
The Breakdown
the Good:
First, let me start out by saying this game is for kids. That's not to say that adults and the like can't enjoy this game too, but it really is more for the kids. With that said, this is a entertaining little game. It has a light mood about it and is just plain, silly fun.
It's also incredibly simple in terms of how to play. Just move the spider around and avoid the bees. That's about it. It does get a little tough at times when the screen is filled with bees, but nothing you can't overcome or anything.
The Bad:
Remember how I said in the "Good" section how the game was more for kids? Well, because of that it gets boring pretty fast. It is fun for a bit, but overall it's almost too simple. The replay value was very low for me and after playing for about two hours, I was pretty much all set.
The other issue I had where the controls. They work, but the spider has eight legs to deal with and that can get a little tiring at times. What I mean by that is you have to move each leg one at a time to get the spider to move. It just gets a little old after a while and you almost wish the thing had a few less appendages to move around.
The Verdict
If you have kids, this is a great game for them. It's easy to play and entertaining enough to keep them busy for a while. Worth the price for sure. If you're more of a hardcore gamer and you're looking for something long lasting to spend that buck on however, I might pass on this one as it can get a bit stale after a while.
