Overview

Growing flowers has never been this fun or this addictive. Be warned: This game will eat up hours of your life and you will enjoy every minute of it. Okay, I warned you...moving on. The concept here is very simple: Add dirt, sun, and water. Sounds simple and it is, but as with any game like this things get really crazy really fast. How green is your thumb?

Features

green-fingers-gameplayOther than the very easy pick-up-and-play nature of the game, the app does come with a lot of extra features included in it as well. There are over 15 different fun little achievements to unlock throughout the game. The app comes with the usual high scoring system, an auto save option, the ability to leave the game and come back right where you left off as well in case you get a call or text. The app has the ability to use OpenFeint and it can connect to Facebook and Twitter too. There are also online leader boards so you can keep track of your competition.

Breakdown

The Good:

green-fingers-achievementsThis game comes very close in terms of getting everything right. Which is not only refreshing, but highly entertaining at the same time. The gameplay is incredibly smooth and the graphics and sounds fit the game perfectly. The game is also highly addictive. You will definitely be playing this one over and over again trying to beat your last high score. It's also extremely easy to just pick up and start playing. There is no need for lengthly instruction or fancy controls. Just get the items in the pot in the right order.

The Bad:

green-fingers-rowThere wasn't much wrong with this game. In fact, it was kind of difficult to even find anything wrong with this game at all, but I did manage to come up with a few minor nit picks. The first would be the difficulty...it gets extremely hard very fast. I really like that about the game, but some might find the challenge level too hard. The game also ends abruptly when you get a wrong item in a pot. One strike and you're out on this one. This goes back to the difficulty level, but I really liked that about the game so...

The Verdict

This app is a must have for anyone that's looking for a fun, addictive, and easy to play game on there iPhone or iPod Touch. The price is right on this one and there really isn't anything wrong with the game. Again, who knew planting flowers could be so much fun? [gallery link="file" columns="4"]
