New years eve doesn't have to be all about going out to party and drink the night away, although it can be if you want it to, we have no problem with that. But if you are staying in tonight, why not treat yourself to a brand new iPhone game? Ravensword and James Cameron's Avatar, both time consuming and expansive iPhone games, are on sale this new years eve, so you should easily have enough to do until the clock strikes midnight.
Ravensword ($6.99 -> $4.99): One of the more ambitions iPhone games to-date, Ravensword features a mix of 3D action, adventure, and RPG gameplay elements that takes place in a massive open environment. You are able to take part in tons of different activities, such as riding horses, target practice, hunting animals, and of course, slaying enemies, while also searching for secret treasures to further fill your inventory.

James Cameron's Avatar ($9.99 -> $6.99): A platformer that takes place two full decades prior to the film's events, which will allow you to get a glimpse into how the very first avatar came to be. The game features an on-screen joystick and combat buttons, 15 levels, loads of different weapons and enemies, and has a narrative voiced by Neytiri from the actual film.
