Phishing Apps Make Their Way To The Android Market, Oops

Despite of the critics, Apple's approval process has some serious benefits, a big one being safety. First Tech Credit union is reporting that a couple phishing apps have made it to the Android Market this December. Under the disguise of mobile banking apps, they would collect the users financial information and transmit them to their malicious developer, "Droid09". The apps have already been pulled but this is definitely bad timing for Google. And no, we don't think Apple is behind this...
