iCamcorder Gets An Update, Come Win A Free Copy With A Retweet Or A Comment

February 1, 2010

iCamcorder, a great and very popular app that lets you film from you iPhone 2G/3G just got a big update. Its developers are telling me they have partly rewritten their encoder using an arm assembler and managed to make the app now acquire over 15 FPS with max quality settings. Here is a short demo clip uploaded by pinot on tweetvid:

There is actually a whole bunch of other updates like new effects and a couple new functions which you can check out in the app's description.

Lastly, to celebrate their success (the app is now #30st top paid app on the US App Store), its developers provided us with a couple free copies for you. If you want one just retweet this post (you can use the green retweet button below) or leave a comment.

We'll then pick five of you at random to get a free copy. You have until tomorrow noon, good luck!

*** The contest is now closed, the winners are: William, Velex, Mate Shtikej, @klaas4 & Coopr 001
