We Rule For iPhone Updated With New Features And Performance Improvements

Alright We Rulers. Have you had it up to here with network connection issues, false indicators, and the lack precise controls?  Well, if you haven't, you must not be playing enough because it's all there, or was there actually.  Today ngmoco and company issued an update to the iPhone version of We Rule that should remedy many of the problems most of us We Rulers have been noticing over the past month. Below is the entire list of new features and improvements:
  • Added pinch zooming, and zooming in past 1.0x
  • Added double tap zooming to a location
  • Improved character pathing
  • Added animated popup bubbles
  • Objects stay flipped in re-design mode
  • Improved selection of objects
  • Improved decal positioning when moving buildings
  • Show pop-ups while scrolling
  • Show pop-ups when zoomed out
  • Fixed bug causing pop-ups to not show up in other people's kingdoms
  • Fixed bug that caused crops to look finished when they weren't actually finished
  • General performance improvements and memory optimizations
  • Resolved a load of network connection and low memory warning fixes
  • Ability to deliver new content to your kingdoms - watch this space for new buildings & other goodness, very soon
It's good to see ngmoco and NewToy finally taking some steps towards fixing all of the bugs that have plagued earlier releases of We Rule because it's a great game, and we want to keep playing it without having to pull out our hair due to crops dying from server failures. So which of the improvements are you most excited about?  I can't wait to see what new goodies they will be adding since everything is basically available after level 20. Speaking of level 20, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for helping me expand my kingdom so quickly.  AppAdvice readers are the best We Rulers out there!
