Capcom Chooses OpenFeint To Provide Online Services For Two New Games

The two newly released OpenFeint-enabled Capcom games are Hatchlings and Dark Void Zero.
Hatchlings is a match-3 puzzle game where the goal is to help Echo the gecko manage the "Great Hatchery" by aligning three like creatures in order to release them into the forest. Creatures can be matched horizontally and vertically, but you can only use the horizontal axis.
The game features 18 levels and, of course, OpenFeint integration.
Hatchlings is now available for $.99.
Dark Void Zero is a critically acclaimed Nintendo DS title that has been brought over to our favorite mobile gaming platform. The game is an 8-bit retro platformer where you control Rusty, a warrior test-pilot who with the help of his state-of-the-art rocket pack, intends to save all of humanity by closing Portal X.
The game features multiple levels of action, five experimental weapons, classic 8-bit graphics and sounds, and a never-before-seen ending exclusive to the iPhone version.
Dark Void Zero is now available for $2.99.
It remains to be seen how long Capcom and the many other online gaming service craving iPhone developers will stick with the likes of OpenFeint and ngmoco's Plus+ after Apple's Game Center is available.
