Zynga, the creators of Farmville, have announced at WWDC 2010 that they will be releasing a version of their popular game for iPhone this Summer.
Farmville is currently one of the most popular games on Facebook with players sending over 2 billion gifts per day. The new Farming app for iPhone will allow players to harvest their crops and look after their farms anywhere they go. Some of Zynga's more popular games such as Word Scramble and Live Poker have already made the transition to iPhone but I predict Farming will be their most successful app so far.
Farming will be available on the iPhone at the end of June and if this game is as popular on the iPhone as it is on Facebook then this has the potential to kill productivity at work all around the world.
