AppFresh Daily: The Very Best Apps From The Last 24 Hours
August 16, 2010
As you know, there are plenty of new apps hitting the App Store every day (about 600/day lately). The thing is, most of them are Flashlight and Radio apps, so it’s not easy to find the little gems in all the clutter. Let us take care of that for you, it’s Appfresh daily:
Fox Business (iPad) is a financial app by the Fox Network.
It lets you track stocks and access their financial content on your iPad, for free.
The Bar Lite (iPhone) is a progress bar tracker. It allows you to snap a picture of a progress bar on your computer screen and it will compute the progress and remaining time (with some help). With this app, you can track the progress of a task or installation away from your screen.
The lite version is limited to 5 minutes of use, and it's free. You'll find the paid version here.
Mayorama (iPhone) is a Foursquare companion app that helps you become a mayor in more locations. It will tell you what's worth conquering, where you're a mayor already, and how far away you are from becoming a mayor at nearby locations. It goes for $.99.
That's it for today folks. Did we miss anything? Tell us in the comments.
