Apple just pulled quite a surprise on the Apple blogging world tonight. Out of the blue, Apple's PR just announced that tomorrow's special fall event will be streamed to the world in real-time video at Apple.com. Of course, this is awesome. Fanboys all around the world have been dreaming about this for a long time. Being able to watch Steve live is great. Also, it's very likely that this is a demonstration of Apple's new streaming capabilities, so the new iTunes Store in the cloud is probably a given at this point. On the downside, this will probably mark the end of the long standing live-blogging tradition. Well, we still have to see how Apple's servers hold under the pressure. On a further note, it seems like only Mac and iOS users will be given access to the stream, but we're not sure how or if Apple will enforce that. Yet, you shouldn't let that keep you away from the AppAdvice liveblog which will be happening as scheduled, with our special pre-conference starting at 9am PT. We'll be doing the play by play, quotes and of course, enlightened live commentary, so stay tuned. Happy?
