Today's AGF list is void of iPad apps, but it does include a ninja slashing game for iPhone, a vertical shooter, a navigation app that will help you find a cellular signal in case of emergency, and more. Disclaimer: All prices are subject to change at any time and without notice regardless of stated free duration. iPhone: iSlash ($.99 -> Free): Test your ninja skills with this slashing game. Use your finger to remove sections from the shapes in order to achieve the required amount. Stars are constantly moving around inside of the shape and they can not be separated or slashed through, so you will have to time your slashes well. The game features a total of 50 levels. iSlash is available for free today only (10/24). It has a three-and-a-half-star rating and a total of 85 ratings. Super Blast ($.99 -> Free): A combination of a vertical shooter and an endless action game. Just tilt your device from side to side to keep the creeps from passing by. If one does, the game is over. The game features visually appealing 3D graphics and OpenFeint integration. Super Blast is available for free until October 27th. It has a three-and-a-half-star rating and a total of 41 ratings. Lets Flair ($.99 -> Free): An action game that requires you to tilt your device from side to side in order to align the service point with the bottles flying through the air, and then tap the bottles the moment they reach that point. But that’s not all, you must also do this in the order indicated on the screen to earn additional points. If you miss three bottles or tap a poison bottle, the game is over. Lets Flair is available for free until October 26th. It has a three-and-a-half-star rating and a total of 11 ratings. Chocolate Attack! ($.99 -> Free): Tilt and turn your device to keep the chocolaty treats away from the crazed chocoholic. At times a chocolate box will appear, and that's your chance to deposit the candy you have saved. The game features multiple levels of difficulty, colorful artwork, and more. Chocolate Attack! is available for free until November 1st. It has a four-star rating and a total of seven ratings. BootPrint - Pocket Survival ($.99 -> Free): Launch this app before heading out on a hike or any other excursion where you think you might lose your cellular signal. It will check for and save the closest cellular tower data automatically, so when you lose your signal and need it back, it can direct you to that location. When your signal is lost, just relaunch the app and wait for a GPS fix. Then start turning and walking until the numbers on the screen match up. BootPrint is available for free for a limited time. It has a five-star rating and a total of five ratings. Developers: If you are a developer who would like to get your app included in our “Apps Gone Free” daily lists, here’s our basic set of rules:
- The app must be free for at least one whole day.
- It must have at least a three-star rating at the time it goes free.
- The app must not have been free numerous times (3+) over the last six months.
