Pedlar Lady iPhone Edition ($4.99) The Pedlar Lady of Gushing Cross has journeyed on to the iPhone. No longer is the moving tale restricted to the iPad, and now iPhone and iPod Touch owners can experience a new way of storytelling. You can simply sit back, and watch and listen to the story, or read it with the movement in the background.
The app looks great on the smaller device with out too much of a loss even despite the screen size difference. It’s a book experience like none other on the iDevice, and it’s nice that it’s not limited to the iPad any longer. From the first page when you see the Pedlar Lady approach her house you know this is something unique, and it’s wonderful.
The pictures move which is great, but there is a soundtrack as well, and the whole app really is immersive like none other. All that applies to the iPad version applies to the iPhone version, so be sure to read our full review. The app is the same as the iPad version so if you own that version you can skip the iPhone version.

The app really just gives the same animations of each page now for the iPhone user with the expectation of not experiencing it before. The story does go by quickly without much incentive to read through it again with very few alternate animations.
For $4.99 it seems a bit steep in the iPhone market situation, but it does fit with the iPad market. It’s really worth a read through as it’s like nothing else in the App Store, and you’ll enjoy every minute of the story, even though there aren't that many minutes.
