December 10, 2010
One of Google’s latest offerings has officially been released globally. Google Instant is now available around the world and across multiple platforms. Previously it was only available in the United States and a few other countries. The feature makes searching the web a whole lot easier. Now, results of your search appear right in front of you even before you are finished typing. According to the official Google Blog:
Today we’re happy to let you know that Google Instant for mobile is now available in 28 languages and 40 countries worldwide. If you have an Android 2.2+ or iOS4 device, just go to google.com in your mobile browser and you will be redirected to your local domain. Then, tap the Google Instant link beneath the search box to enable it.
Google Instant is amazing, but it does take some getting used to. It definitely makes searching much quicker. In particular, it makes searches on the iPad much simpler.
