Yelp has recently received a major update, and is now a universal iOS application. This means the app will now run natively on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. As you can see in the above screenshot, Yelp takes full advantage of the iPad's 9.7-inch, HD screen. Using the application on the iPad is a much more enjoyable experience. Owners of Apple's "magical and revolutionary" device can write reviews, search through photos, and search for businesses using the application. A landscape map view allows users to do this with ease. The latest version (5.0.0) also brings iPhone owners a variety of bug fixes, meaning the app will run more reliably once you've installed the update. So, what are you waiting for? If you own an iPad, be sure to check out Yelp in the App Store now. The app is still free, and is definitely worth downloading.
