Disc Drivin' Updated With New Courses And Enhanced Graphics

April 7, 2011
Pixelocity Software pushed out a nice little update today to Disc Drivin', their addictive asynchronous online disc racing game, which added three new courses and some visual improvements to both iPhone and iPad versions. The three new courses -- Zoom Zoom, Hopper, and Canyon Jump -- offer plenty of risk taking opportunities thanks to the abundant amount of boosts and ramps spread across them, allowing you to either leap way ahead of your opponents or fall so far back that the desire to resign may be too much for you to resist. You can check out all three new courses along with their layouts and colorful backdrops below. The iPhone version of Disc Drivin' received some pleasant UI improvements, which added a little more pizazz to the menu system and changed the placement of the lap indicators. The update also added a FAQ section. The iPad version gained anti-aliasing support, but only for iPad 2 owners, which should clean up some of the jagged edges. Like the iPhone version, it also gained a FAQ section. The iPhone and iPad versions of Disc Drivin' are currently available in the App Store for $2.99 each.
