PSN Status - An iPad App That Can Tell You Whether PSN Is Still Down

PSN Status (free) is a recently released app for the iPhone and iPod touch, which allows users to quickly and easily check the status of PlayStation Network.
As many PS3-owning Apple fans will know, Sony's online gaming service - "PSN" - has had a troublesome month, but is slowly (and surely) regaining strength. With PSN Status, gamers can check whether the service is online by simply launching the application, and waiting a few seconds.
Once the app has determined the status of PSN, it'll display the results on the screen (a very basic "online" or "offline," though that's all you really need to know). Furthermore, users of the app can then share the results via Facebook or Twitter, which is a useful feature.
