Swift ($0.99) by CodeGoo is a brand new app that allows you to take video on your iDevice quicker than ever. This universal app is compatible with the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad 2, and iPod Touch 4th Generation.
This is a simple, single function app that does what it claims. It starts filming, fast. The first time you open the app, you get a basic instruction screen that says: “Recording starts upon opening. Tap the home button or timer to end video.” After that, each time you open the app, recording will start immediately. It is definitely faster than the native camera app’s video function. No fumbling around, switching from still photo to video camera. Just open Swift and you’re rolling!
In the top left corner, you’ll see the option to turn the flash on and off. In addition, if you touch the screen, you’ll get a blue circle with a square inside and a green rectangle with a circle inside.
