The last week saw more iPhone 5 rumors. However, the biggest technology news came from Google and Adobe, both which announced new iOS products. iPhone 5 News Does T-Mobile Know Something About The iPhone 5? Deutsche Telekom AG is now taking reservations for the iPhone 5 through its T-Mobile subsidiary in Germany. This news comes from Bloomberg. Even though Apple has yet to officially announce a successor to its iPhone 4, that hasn’t stopped T-Mobile from offering the device as a preorder to its existing German customers. According to Deutsche Telekom spokesman Alexander von Schmettow, the operator is now handing out coupons for people “who expressly request the successor model to the iPhone 4, without providing the name or release details of the device.” Oops! Apple Engineer Confirms Next iPhone Has 8-Megapixel Camera Although the iPhone 5 remains shrouded in mystery, a new leak suggests the next-generation iDevice will come with a 8-megapixel camera. Apparently, an Apple engineer posted a photo on Flickr taken with the new iPhone, according to news first reported by Pocketnow.com. The photo, which we’ve included here, was taken on July 22 by Apple employee Anton D’Auria. While D’Auria claims the photo (nice lunch) was taken with an iPhone 4, that doesn’t appear to be the case. The Verizon iPhone 4 Will Be On Sale At The Shack Beginning September 15 Radio Shack is planning to team up with Verizon this month and will begin selling their mobile phones and plans. Along with the new product lineup, it looks like Radio Shack will begin selling the iPhone 4, instead of waiting for the highly anticipated iPhone 5. A leaked screenshot on the 9to5Mac website indicates the retailer will begin selling the 16GB iPhone 4 on September 15.  They also indicated some of the stores will have the 32 GB iPhone in stock along with the Verizon iPad 2. Bloomberg: Sprint To Get The iPhone 5 Next Month If you believe Bloomberg this morning, it's a done deal; Sprint will be getting the iPhone 5 in October. Of course, this is not the first time we're hearing this. Rumors of the iPhone 5 coming to Sprint have been getting more and more serious this year. There have been reports from sources at The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and even a demand from Sprint itself to its employees not to comment about the potential arrival of the device. Bloomberg's sources are pointing to a mid-October release, and interestingly, Sprint will supposedly be offering an unlimited data plan for the device. This last bit of info will make this an attractive offer compared to AT&T and Verizon who both gave up on unlimited plans a while ago. Industry News Google Music Launches On iDevices Google is making it easier for iDevice owners to stream their entire iTunes music library. Beginning today, Google Music members may access their entire collection by visiting music.google.com using Mobile Safari on an iPhone/iPod touch or iPad. Google made the announcement of its new Music webapp via Twitter. First launched in May, Google Music serves two purposes. First, it archives your entire iTunes music collection and continually checks for new additions. These songs are also uploaded. Google Launches Official Blogger App For iPhone Good news if you use and enjoy Blogger, Google's hosted blogging platform. Just minutes ago, Google released an official iPhone client for the service. Called Blogger, the app is available free of charge on the App Store and it does everything you would expect. That is, you can use it to post new entries, upload images, or modify older posts, right from your iPhone. Best of all, the app supports multiple accounts if you need it. Blogger by Google Mobile is available on the App Store free of charge. Google Books Updated: Adds Library Management, Improved Formatting And Accessibility Options The Google Books iOS app (which was removed from the App Store due to in-app purchasing issues, and then reappeared soon after) has recently received an update. Now, the e-book reading application allows users to manage the contents of their digital library, and the formatting of e-books is much improved. Furthermore, the latest version of Google Books also boasts new accessibility features. Adobe To Release Carousel, Allowing You To Access Photos From Any Device (Video) Adobe Systems Incorporated today unveiled a new product called Carousel for the iPhone/iPod touch, iPad, and Mac OS. The product uses the company’s Adobe Photoshop Lightroom technology and allows customers to access all of their photos across various devices. The product is expected to arrive later this month. When customers import their photo library into Adobe Carousel, or take new photos using Adobe Carousel on an iDevice, those photos are automatically accessible on any supported device through a cloud. Once imported, any edits, deletions or additions to the library made on one device are automatically updated across all devices linked with the account. Best of all, Adobe Carousel requires no manual syncing or storage limitations. Facebook App Get Major Update, But Still Not For iPad Facebook has just released an update to its popular iPhone/iPod touch app. Unfortunately, the update still does not include iPad compatibility. Version 3.5 of the Facebook app includes a number of tools that make it easier to share items with your friends. These features include the ability to tag friends and places in posts and share external links from a web view. In addition, the app includes newly designed Profile and Group Wall pages.
