Apple Retail Stores Closing For Three Hours On Wednesday To Celebrate Steve Jobs' Life

If you were planning on visiting an Apple Store today to get help with your new iPhone 4S or other Apple products, plan on going later this afternoon. According to Businessweek, a company-wide memorial for Steve Jobs will shut down all Apple Store retail locations for a few hours today.
Employees will be able to celebrate the life of Apple visionary Steve Jobs by watching a webcast of the memorial, which will be held at 10 a.m. PDT at Apple headquarters in Cupertino, CA. The memorial information was sent to all employees in an email from Apple CEO Tim Cook. Apple stated this is a private event.
Just to verify, I called my local Apple Store and they are indeed closed for three hours today, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. CDT.
Jobs died on October 5, 2011 following a battle with pancreatic cancer at age 56. A private memorial was held at Stanford University’s Memorial Church this past Sunday. No public services are planned for him.
