Today, his masterpieces are known throughout the world and sell for millions of dollars. These and other facts are brought to life in the new iPad app, Explore Vincent, available now in the App Store. Created by Van Gogh Brabant and Qlvr, an interactive media agency, Explore Vincent includes 15 animated clips and six educational games. While specifically geared towards the school-aged set, the app is something that anyone with an interest in art or culture should find enjoyable. Explore Vincent tracks the artist’s life from his childhood years in Zundert to his final sojourns in various places in the Netherlands and abroad. Throughout, you’ll get closer to a man that still makes news today, 121 years after his death. Take a look:
