New Video Shows The Recording Capabilities Of The iPhone 4S

Benjamin Dowie has posted a video on his Vimeo page, shot entirely on the iPhone 4S. For a video that was shot just to test the camera's capabilities, it's incredible, especially coming from a mobile phone.
The new camera really comes through. You rarely see any over-exposure, which is notorious on the iPhone 4. The moving shots are remarkably smooth. There is great depth of field in many of his shots. This is definitive proof that iPhone 4S' 8 megapixel camera, new sensor, and iOS 5 can stand up to traditional point-and-shoot cameras and perhaps even DSLRs.

"It's actually amazing. The automatic stabilisation seems to work wonders, and gets rid of most the jello. Depth of field is flipping awesome. Colours are really good straight out the camera, but I did give this footage a slight grade."This is a great example of things to come from the iPhone 4S.
