Siri Offers Different Accents, Depending On Location (Video)

When Siri arrives along with the iPhone 4S on Friday, it will come with different voice settings depending on where you’re located. At least, that appears to be the case, according to a new Siri demo video recently published by Stuff.tv.
The video, which we’re including here, includes a switch between English-US and English-UK settings. As such, Siri’s accent changes accordingly, going between American and British English depending on the speaker.

In our perfect world, we hope Apple eventually offers voice packs similar to what some GPS vendors are doing. For example, instead of Siri, wouldn’t it be fun to hear Homer Simpson speaking instead?
