Where To Follow Today's Keynote

October 4, 2011
Today, Apple is unveiling the next iPhone and as usual, it's going to be a wild, wild day. Since many of you have been asking us, we'd like clarify a bit what will be happening here today, and where to follow what. First of all, rest assured that we will be covering the event with articles continuously during the keynote, starting at 10 a.m. PDT. Any single thing that Tim Cook or anybody on stage announces, or that Apple puts up, or that we're able to figure out on our own, you'll be able to read about at length. However, we will not be covering this event live, on our usual liveblog. So if you're looking for live coverage, here are a few good sites that we'll be following ourselves:   Ars Technica The über geeks of Ars Technica will be blogging the event live. gdgt Ryan Block from gdgt is also on site. Mashable The social media experts of Mashable are covering the event as well. This is my next By the former Engadget team. They're really efficient at transcribing what happens, including photos. You can find them here. Engadget Engadget, or what's left of it, has some fancy coverage with live video from in front of the venue (the event itself won't be streamed). Check it out in the meantime, and maybe during the event. Gizmodo Gizmodo won't be at today's event as they're on Apple's blacklist ever since they acquired that stolen iPhone 4 prototype last year. On the other hand, they'll be applying their great tech and snarky comments to all the coverage happening around the web. Other liveblogs to consider: Macworld CNET The Loop The keynote will be starting at 10 a.m. PDT, or 1 p.m. EDT. In the meantime, here is what we're expecting.
