Facebook Holiday Update Unwraps Mobile Timeline For iPhone

Just days after refining its web app experience, Facebook has pushed those very same updates to its official iOS offering. While the look remains mostly unchanged, the headlining addition comes in the form of the much-anticipated Timeline feature. For users already running Timeline, this update grants access to the mobile variant. And, love it or hate it, at least the thing looks great on the iPhone's small display (with iPad support reportedly coming soon). Other than that, the new version (4.1) includes friend lists, subscriber tallies, and subscription data, while--on the performance side--everything seems to run smoother and faster. Even photos are easier to browse, view, upload, and comment on. For a seemingly minor version bump, Facebook users are getting quite a lot to play with.
