Today On Festivus: AmpliTube And Dark Meadow

The first full week of Festivus is in the books! We gave away some really great prizes over the last seven days, but we have another two weeks of exciting gadgets, apps, and games to get through yet, so don't despair if you haven't won anything. There's lots of time left!

An app for musicians who want to amp it up
Some of you may not know this, but AppAdvice first came together as a garageband looking to make it big. Once we realized we weren't musicians, we decided to just write about iOS apps. Alright, so that's not really a true story, but if we were to form a band the first app we would download would be IK's Amplitube. A game that's as dark as it is beautiful
Want to push your new iPhone or iPad to the limit? Then you absolutely must use a Festivus raffle ticket on this bad boy. Dark Meadow is a fantasy role-playing game designed around Epic's powerful Unreal Engine, which basically means your jaw is going to drop the moment you step foot into the decaying ruins of Montclair Hospital. As you progress through the game trying to figure out the mystery behind your imprisonment, you'll encounter massive beasts that can be taken down with a variety of gesture-controlled weapons, but your ultimate goal is to destroy the beautiful witch in charge of this nightmare.
