The Ragtag Team Of Rune Raiders Are About To Wreak Havoc On iOS

Retro64 is scheduled to launch its new iOS game titled Rune Raiders this month. Rune Raiders is a casual strategy game soon to be available for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.
In Rune Raiders, you'll be tasked to assemble a ragtag team of archers, wizards, swordsmen, centaurs and other mystical warriors to defeat various enemies in a medieval game environment. If you're getting hints of a typical RPG or even a platformer, think again. Rune Raiders is actually designed in the familiar style of a classic board game. As such, it requires placing tiles representing the aforementioned characters on a board and letting them do their job, or, in some cases, magic. Watch the game trailer below.

Each type of character has a unique combination of skills, weapons and armor, so a well-considered mix of characters is vital towards achieving victory across the 15 levels in regular mode and the random levels in survival mode. To win the game completely, you will have to guide your heroic team and aid them in collecting power-ups to defeat all 15 enemies, including three big bosses, to be encountered in three different terrains.
Rune Raiders has full integration with Game Center and features an epic soundtrack for its fun-filled gameplay and graphics. You can download it in the App Store for $1.99 beginning Mar. 15.
