Launch day for the new iPad is just two days away. And thanks to a photo provided to Engadget, one Best Buy location somewhere in the United States has already received its share of the tablets in preparation for Friday. It’s nice to see that at least one Best Buy will actually have iPads to sell on launch day. After opening up pre-orders one week ago, shipping times from Apple’s website have quickly slipped. Customers who place an iPad order today are being quoted a shipping time of two to three weeks. Apple stores across the country will be opening up at 8 a.m. local time Friday, and usually are a fairly good place to make your purchase - as long as you don’t mind standing in line. AT&T and Verizon stores are also advertising stocks of the new LTE-enabled iPad versions on sale Friday. But, if past rollouts are any indication, the stores may have very limited or no stocks. While you’re waiting for your delivery man to stop by, or while standing in line, make sure to take a look at our iPad Buyer’s Guide along with 15 hot cases for your Retina-enabled tablet. We’ll have much more coverage on Friday, so keep checking back.
