Prepare To Tilt To Live Yet Again In Radia

June 4, 2012
Shock Games Studios is about to dare you to tilt to live. Nope, it hasn't taken over One Man Left's Tilt to Live. Rather, it's set to release its own tilt-based iPhone game called Radia. Actually, Radia is not the first tilt-based game from Shock Games. In April last year, the Michigan-based developer came out with Fireballin' Lite. Fireballin' Lite requires careful tilting as you try to dodge the fireballs that won't just stay put on screen. The odd thing about Fireballin' Lite is that it hasn't had a full counterpart in the 13 months since its launch in the App Store. As it turns out, the reason behind this oddity lies in Shock Games' decision to devote its effort toward making a different full-fledged tilt-based iPhone game. And that game is Radia. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. Just like Tilt to Live and Fireballin' Lite, Radia is a tilt-based survival game. As the last living Radiite, you're compelled to tilt toward safety in your constant attempt to dodge deadly spikes on the move. In the game's level mode, you're required to collect a certain number of the titular orbs to advance to the next level. In timed mode, just steer clear of spikes for as long as possible. And in endless mode, you need to collect as many Radia as you can with the aid of power-ups to keep pesky spikes at bay. Watch the trailer for the game above to see footage depicting these modes. Designed for iPhone and iPod touch, Radia is slated to be released on Thursday, June 7. Be sure to read then our review of the game here on AppAdvice.
