Showtime Networks Makes The Weeds iOS App A Bit Greener

If you're a fan of Weeds, the hit Showtime series about a pot dealing family, then you're likely aware that season eight is already under way. However, you may not know, or have forgotten, that Showtime Networks offers an iOS app, which has recently been updated.
The app features cast and character biographies, episode synopsis and clips, air time schedule, reminders, news, media links, wallpapers, photo booth, and even a full episode. The content is updated frequently and, of course, that includes the latest season details, videos, and more.
It isn't unusual for the theme to slightly change with each season, but this being the final season makes it a very special occasion for the series. So, in honor of the big finale run, Showtime has done a little redecorating, replacing the dark green and yellow plant color theme with a neon green and black appearance.
The new color scheme is reflected on the Weeds official website and in v3.0 of the Weeds on Showtime app. In addition, Showtime has changed the app icon from the skyline to a Weeds logo-type image. Basically, it's a nice visual makeover.
