Big Deal! No, Really: Get A $100 iTunes eGift Card For Only $80

August 20, 2012
If you tend to make a lot of purchases from any of Apple’s digital content stores, Walmart has an offer you can’t refuse. The popular U.S. retail chain has just applied a markdown on a certain denomination of Apple’s iTunes gift cards. For a limited time only, you can avail of a downloadable $100 iTunes gift card for only $80. As noted by Deal News:
Walmart offers a $100 Apple iTunes eGift Card for $80. That's $5 under our July mention and tied with our May mention as being among the best deals we've seen for iTunes credit that's open to everyone. (We saw a $10 gift card for $5 three weeks ago, but for new Saveology customers only.)
Obviously, that accounts for a $20 saving. But what may not be immediately apparent is that, through this deal, you’re effectively entitled to a 20 percent discount on all purchases in the iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store, and even iBookstore. And that’s hard to come by otherwise. Also, bear in mind that these are digital iTunes gift cards we’re talking about. As such, they require no shipping fee whatsoever. What do they require is that you wait from a few minutes up to 48 hours for the redemption codes to be delivered to you by email. Also, as pointed out by 9to5Mac, the offer works for customers outside the U.S. too. That is, so long as they pay for the iTunes gift cards with a U.S.-based source and use the codes in the U.S. version of the aforementioned digital content stores of Apple.
