Evernote Food 2.0 Serves Yummy New Interface Plus iPad Optimization
December 20, 2012
A year after its launch in the App Store, Evernote Food has finally cooked up a delicious 2.0 update.
For starters, Evernote Food 2.0 brings native iPad support. Yes, Evernote's standalone app aimed at helping you "remember the food you love" is now optimized for iPad and iPad mini as well as for iPhone and iPod touch.
But perhaps a more important improvement delivered by the 2.0 update is the app's remarkable new design — a design that was borne out of the realization of the app's potential for more.
"Evernote Food was great at capturing the grand finale of the meal — all the dishes, the people, the ambiance — but what about the inspiration?" says the Evernote team. "What about the process of discovering a recipe or choosing the restaurant? So we went back to the drawing board and rethought Evernote Food from scratch. The result is one of the most beautiful, fun and complete food applications ever."
