Personal Assistant App Springpad Undergoes Bouncy 4.0 Refresh

Spring has arrived. As it turns out, so has Springpad 4.0.
Springpad 4.0 is, of course, the new generation of the popular personal assistant app Springpad. It offers a streamlined redesign along with a number of major improvements.
The new version of Springpad features a new navigation bar and home screen that make navigation within the app much easier. In addition, it introduces a new My Springs section that shows what you and the people you follow have added, or "sprung," as it were.
Springpad 4.0 also provides a greatly improved search functionality in that it quickly shows what you're looking for based on your desired activity. Also, it lets you tap to view all of your notes, checklists, photos, bookmarks, and other spring regardless of the notebooks they're in.

Speaking of notebooks, the app now lets you see your notebooks and the notebooks of those you follow all on a single screen. Moreover, along with the launch of Springpad 4.0 comes the ability to embed your Springpad notebooks on your blog or website.
And still on the topic of notebooks, now you don't have to immediately file a new spring to a notebook. Just spring it and organize later, if you're so inclined.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, Springpad 4.0 is available now in the App Store for free.
