Pinterest For iOS' New UI Enhancements Are Quite Interesting

March 22, 2013
Pinterest for iOS has just received another update that makes discovering more pins even more, er, interesting. Released in the App Store in May 2011, Pinterest is the official iOS app of the popular pinboard-style photo-sharing website of the same name. Originally optimized for iPhone and iPod touch only, it was optimized for iPad as well through a big update in August last year. The update was so big that it later earned for the app the honor of being AppAdvice's App of the Week. Last month, the app was updated with the ability to edit pins and manage comments. Now, the app has been updated with profile editing support along with several other new features. One of these new features is the app's new "people who pinned this also pinned" section. Previously, the pin view in Pinterest for iOS ends with the comments section at the bottom. Now, you can find the new "people who pinned this also pinned" section below the comments section, letting you discover more pins that may also interest you. But before you reach the new section in question, you will also see the newly redesigned repins and likes sections for the pin currently in view. And speaking of view, a close-up view of your pins is now available through the new look of the app's iPad edition. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later, Pinterest for iOS is available in the App Store for free. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
