Email Client Plus Task Manager App Taskbox Updated With More Features

April 21, 2013
Taskbox, the email app that turns your inbox into a to-do list of sorts, has received another major update. Released in October last year, Taskbox is, as my colleague Ramy wrote in his review, a "hybrid email client and to-do list that helps make sure you never miss an important email again." The app received its 2.0 update early last month, thereby gaining a quick swipe gesture for unimportant messages and a quick response feature, among others. This time, Taskbox's follow-up update brings, most notably, support for iCloud and AOL. As a result, you can now transform your iCloud and AOL email accounts, aside from your Gmail and Yahoo ones, into manageable task lists. In addition, the latest update to Taskbox delivers the following enhancements:
  • Continuous scroll - no more 'Load More' button in the inbox.
  • Rich text - Bold, italicize, and underline the text in your emails.
  • More avatars - Add photos from your iPhone photo library as a contact's profile picture.
  • Speed and sync improvements.
  • Various bug fixes.
Optimized for iPhone and ipod touch running iOS 6.0 or later, Taskbox is available in the App Store for $2.99. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
