Google Launches New, Dedicated iPhone App For Business Owners

April 21, 2013
Google has just launched a brand new application called Google Places for Business in the App Store. The app allows users to connect their business with Google Search, Google Maps, and Google+ from an iPhone or iPod touch, and is free to download and install. Thanks to this new application, it's now easier than ever for owners to promote their business online. In Google Places for Business, users can not only check on their online business listing, but also have the option of updating the details of their business on the go, directly from an iDevice. Essential information such as opening hours, address, contact details, and a description of the business can all be added and edited from within Google's new app. Furthermore, users of the application can upload pictures of their business to a Google+ page, and can monitor important aspects of their online listing such as Web traffic while on the go. Entrepreneurs will also be pleased to learn that multiple business locations can be managed from within the app. If you have a business connected to Google's services, or would like to further promote your business online, consider downloading Google Places for Business. The application is optimized for the iPhone 5, requires iOS 5.1 or above, and is currently available to download free of charge in the App Store.
