New Cars, New Events, New Social Features And More Zoom Into Real Racing 3

April 12, 2013
Ladies and gentle-gamers, start your engines, because the first ever update to Real Racing 3 is here. The latest update to the latest installment in the popular racing game series introduces a new manufacturer, a new mode, and many more. The new manufacturer comes in the form of Chevrolet. Specifically, Real Racing 3's lineup now features the Chevrolet Cobalt SS and the Chevrolet ZL-1. And the new mode in Real Racing 3 comes in the form of a new event type called Hunter, which dares you to "chase down the hunted car and overtake within one lap." If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. The other enhancements packed into Real Racing 3's first update are:
  • Cloud Save functionality! Transfer your save data between devices
  • New social features! See who is online and compare how your friends are doing with the statistics leaderboard
  • Check your TSM mailbox for the latest friend notifications
  • Improved tutorial and main menu
  • Numerous additional improvements, fixes, and performance optimizations
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, Real Racing 3 is available in the App Store as a free-to-play title. In his review of the game here on AppAdvice, Ramy writes: "While the freemium mechanics of Real Racing 3 will certainly put a lot of people off, I don’t think they completely ruin the game. If you’re willing to be patient with all of the limits, or spend enough money to avoid them, you’ll enjoy your experience with one of the most impressive games in the App Store." Released late last February, Real Racing 3 was hailed by us as an AppAdvice Game of the Week. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
